Liam this is awesome. Gamma, like holy cow where has that been my whole life haha. Curious on your input, but as a creator who is solely on Substack do you think LinkdIn is the best next platform to bridge out to for organic growth of your newsletter? Thanks in advance

yeah gamma is the bees knees. It's one of those products that highlights a problem you didn't really know you had until you discovered the solution. Kind of like Uber... why would you call a taxi cab after using an uber? Linkedin is definitely a great platform to build on in parallel to substack for a few reasons:

1) Most people on substack include their linkedin links in their profile, so you can easily create twice the awareness for yourself

2) You can see people's real names, occupations, credentials, and likeness, which is especially useful to someone in your profession...

3) A single digit % of Linkedin members create content, so there is plenty of room to grow and it's still early there from a UGC standpoint.

4) You have more control over building your audience there because you can connect with people strategically and build an audience for free. Here, even if you follow & subscribe to someone, it's still a one-way relationship unless they return the favor. There, once you're connected, the two of you see each other's content in your feed (theoretically).

5) Many people in your field are sleeping on Linkedin. They don't think their people are there. But everyone is there... you just have to be strategic about finding prospective clients, connecting with them, and providing enough value that you'll be top of mind when they're ready to buy.

If you ever want to jam about it, just say the word !

Hi5 Liam! This made me chuckle:

👉“I grew my following to 100k in 6 months while sleeping. You can too! Buy my course for $97 ($2,500 value)” 👈 too funny!

Thanks for always sharing your thoughts in a cohesive, easy to digest way. People can take it and run, or not, but they can't say, they don't understand.

Very informative, and I think you’re right about the changes.

LinkedIn definitely needed these!

I was getting tired of being contacted by those bots! 🤖

Me too! I suspect that things are going to get a lot better there!
